JOB DUTIES
- As a Business Developer you will both have sales and marketing related tasks.
- Contact and generate new leads (cold calling and cold emailing).
- In-person meetings with leads and converting them into customer.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events (Networking / mapping network events).
- Organizing networking events, yourself.
- Proposing and planning new marketing initiatives sales and marketing (for example external events, workshops, and internal events).
- Preparing proposal and negotiate fees.
- Team bonding and building (joined task with the entire team).
- Proactive content marketing.
- Although you are the one who is very entrepreneurial and you take on many things yourself, you will make the plans in collaboration with the director of Decos Canada and our product owner sales and marketing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Affinity with Software Development. Either a related technical background or proven experience (Sales or Marketing) in working together with a technical team. Graduate or university degree.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Natural leader.
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
- Able to travel daily – estimated travel is up to 50% of the time.
- Experience with building a sales pipeline and building a sales forecast.
- Creative problem-solving skills, ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way.
- Flexible in working together with different time zones.
- You have a hunter sales profile.
- The ideal person has knowledge of HubSpot.
