WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Technical Skills (Must have):
  • Highly proficient in Power BI.
  • Experience in writing, executing and interpreting Structured Query Language (SQL) statements.
  • Knowledge of importing data from various sources such as SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, SQL Server Analysis Services (Tabular Model), MS Excel etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Process-oriented with outstanding documentation skills.
  • Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

Technical Skills (Good to have):
  • Understanding of GIT/TFS.
  • Certified Microsoft Azure.
  • Thorough understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Knowledge of tools - Scala, Kaafka, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau or Qlik, etc.

 

Soft Skills (Must have):
  • Must be a self-starter and a team player.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

 

Responsibilities:
  • Importing data from SQL Server DB, Azure SQL DB to Power BI to generate reports.
  • Generating computed tables in Power BI by using Dax.
  • Creating Dax Queries to generated computed columns in Power BI.
  • Creating new stored procedures and optimizing existing queries and stored procedures.
  • Creating Azure Blob Storage for Import/Export data to/from .CSV File.
  • Using Power BI, Power Pivot to develop data analysis prototype, and using Power View and Power Map to visualize reports.
  • Publishing Power BI Reports and Dashboards and making these available in web clients and mobile apps.
  • Explore data in a variety of ways and across multiple visualizations using Power BI.
  • Using Power BI Gateways to keep the dashboards and reports up to date.
  • Installing and Configuring Enterprise Gateway and Personal Gateway in Power BI Services.
  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company.
